Here's How It Works

Pick Your Players

There's no draft, and no salary cap.Pick a team of 12 players before the Wild Card round, with only one player from each playoff team.

Hold 'Em or Fold 'Em

After each round of Playoff games, the roster limits per playoff team will adjust, and you'll have the option to hold a player or move them off your roster.

The Scoring Multiplier

Each player's scoring will be multiplied by the number of weeks that player has been on your roster. The longer you hold on to a player, the more they'll earn for you.

How It Works

The NFFC Playoff Hold 'Em is a different kind of fantasy contest. It's not just about who scores the most points this week. It's about committing to the right players early and letting the scoring multiplier do the work as the playoffs unfold.To help cut through the noise, Footballguys expert Dan Hindery ran thousands of playoff simulations and asked a very specific question:
Which players most often turn out to be optimal Week 1 roster choices once the entire postseason plays out?This Optimizer takes the results of those simulations, and allows you to generate an optimized lineup based on Footballguys projections and the results of those simulations. (Read more about Dan's Process Here)That may sound complicated, but using the optimizer couldn't be simpler:

1. Lock In Your Players

Scan through the player pool tab to find players you want on your lineup. You'll see their name, team, and position, Footballguys projected points for week 1 of the playoffs, and a Week 1 Optimization percentage. Thi shows you how often a player showed up in an optimal lineup based on Dan's situations. When you find a player you like, just hit the lock button to add them to your lineup.

2. Create your optimized Lineup

Once you've locked in a few players, hit the Complete My Lineup Button, and we'll automatically fill out the rest of the roster to create your optimal week 1 Lineup.Select the Completed lineup tab to view your lineup. If you don't like your lineup, you can always hit the clear button, lock in some different players, and generate as many lineups as you like

3. Enter the Contest and Dominate

Once You've got an optimized lineup, enter the NFFC contest at the link below, and get ready to dominate. Lineups lock once games start on Saturday 1/10, so don't wait to enter your lineup and take your shot at Playoff Fantasy Football Glory.
